Terms & Conditions

By placing an order on this website or when calling our customer services team, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

You must be over 18 to place an order for alcoholic products on the Penny Johnson Flowers website. By placing an order, you confirm that you or the recipient of an alcohol gift are over the age of 18.

Order Acceptance Policy

All orders received are subject to acceptance by Penny Johnson Flowers and we reserve the right to reject any order without giving reasons. In the event of rejection, we will refund or cancel any payments received via the payment method used to place the order.

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT

Changes to your order

If you wish to change your order, please do so via email or contact our team directly. We'll always do our best to make last-minute changes for you, but we can only guarantee changes (including to the delivery address and card message) requested at least 24 hours before dispatch. Please note that once orders have been 'assigned to production', no changes can be accepted.

For peak season (Valentine's Day and Mother's Day), we are unable to guarantee to accept changes to orders within 72 hours of the intended delivery date.

Cancelling your order

Orders can normally be cancelled up to 48 hours before the intended delivery date. You can cancel your order via email or by contacting our team directly  Please note that once orders have been 'assigned to production', orders cannot be cancelled.

For peak season (Valentine's Day and Mother's Day), we are unable to guarantee to cancel orders within 72 hours of the intended delivery date.

Delivery information

Please note upon delivery if the recipient is unavailable to recieve the product an attempted delivery card will be posted explaining the following options:

a) we have left item with a neighbour

b) the item has been returned to shop ready for collection 

in the event of option B and once we have been contacted by the the recipient, in most cases we can rearanged a re-delivery at no extra charge, if there is aproblem with delivery we wil try and contact our customer in all cases to keep the updated.

Recipients will be required to sign for deliveries. Any deliveries containing alcohol must be signed for by a person 18 years or over.

Deliveries are Mon-Sat (excluding bank holidays).

Cut-off time for same day deliveries is 2pm on date of order (excluding Sundays).

Adverse weather conditions

During adverse weather conditions (such as heavy snow, ice, flooding or high winds), our delivery teams may not be able to delivery orders on time. This is outside of our control and we cannot accept responsibility for the late delivery of the order. Therefore, in the event of adverse weather conditions, we aren't able to refund or offer re-delivery of affected orders.

Flower availability and substitution

All floral products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties or stock not meeting our high quality standards, we reserve the right to substitute any product with an alternate product of a similar style and equivalent (or greater) value and quality. Where this is necessary, and the substitution is significant, we will try to contact you via email. If we are unable to contact you via the contact methods provided prior to the time that we make up your order, we will assume that you accept the substitution.

Some Products, Flowers and Plants may be harmful or poisonous, contact us for further information if required.

Our promise

Freshness

Because our flowers are sourced directly from growers and auctions, our flowers are normally sent out in bud form meaning they will last longer with the recipient. we work with perishable stock and in the unlikley event that you are not completey satisfied with your item please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to discuss how we can resolve the situation, please note in order to replace or refund an item we will need the original product to asess the problem. replacement items will be delivered and damaged/faulty items will be collected. 

Late Deliveries

In the unlikely event of non-delivery on the selected delivery date, we will either refund you in full or redelivery your order – it is your choice, just let us know.

In the event of a late delivery where you have paid our AM or PM specific timed delivery service, we will refund the extra charge for this service 

Customer and recipient personal information

To ensure that we can communicate effectively with both customers and recipients, it is very important that you provide accurate personal information.

Please remember that we value your privacy and will never lease, rent or sell your private information. Period.

At the checkout, we ask for the following personal information:

  • Customer's email address
    We will use the customer's email address in the event that we need to make substitutions, if we need to question information on the order or if we are unable to complete delivery due to the recipient not being in. Please ensure that email addresses are accurate.
  • Customer's full name and address
    We use this information for credit card validation and for direct mailing (only if you have agreed to receipt of these mailings).
  • Recipient's full name, address and contact number
    We require this information in order to deliver the flowers you have ordered. It is vital that the recipient's address and contact number are accurate.

All copy and images on this website are owned by Penny Johnson Flowers and its partners and protected by Copyright. Unauthorised infringement of copyright may be result in legal action being taken against the offending party.

Disclaimer

A person who is not a party to the agreement between you and us has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of the Terms and Conditions but this does not affect any right or remedy which exists apart from that Act.

Save in respect of fraudulent misrepresentation, this agreement (including any documents and instruments referred to herein) supersedes all prior representations, arrangements, understandings, and agreements between you and us (whether written or oral) and sets forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and us relating to the subject matter hereof.

Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Amendments to our Terms

We may from time to time make changes to our terms and conditions , we reserve this right and will inform via our web site any such changes made . we also, for any reason reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to our site and service.
